Confirmation of Faith for Junior High Students
Confirmation of faith for junior high youth at Trinity is a two-year program beginning in the 7th grade. Students are instructed weekly by a Confirmation teacher or teachers, and the pastor. Confirmation instruction is a way for the church to assist parents in providing their child's instruction in the Christian faith, fulfilling the promise made at their child's baptism. The curriculum has also been designed to help parents fulfill the promises made in Baptism: to teach scriptures, the Ten Commandments, expressions of faith, Lord's Prayer, Baptism and the Lord's Supper, and what the church is all about. It is an opportunity to learn, to question, and to grow in faith.

2010 National Youth Gathering
Registration for this trip is Oct. 21st – Nov. 4th, 2009! The actual dates of the Gathering are July 17-21, 2010. To register for the Gathering, youth participants must be at least (1) 14 years old at the time of the Gathering; OR (2) entering their freshman year in high school at the time of the Gathering; OR (3) will not have turned 21 by the time of the Gathering. Ongoing Growth in Faith for High School Students
Trinity's youth have recently adopted a new group name - "AmpLife" - reflecting their intention to "live a life for Christ out loud." We have church-wide support called "Lutheran Youth Fellowship" (LYF) that seeks to promote ongoing development for teenagers in Christian faith, and leadership skills. The youth have opportunities to participate in regional and national youth gatherings to connect with other teenagers through God's Word, relationship building activities and community service. We are committed at Trinity to empowering young people to use their gifts and energies in service to God and His people as they celebrate faith and life in Jesus Christ.
