WORSHIP

  • Worship at Trinity means stepping into the presence of God to receive the love and life He has for us in Jesus Christ, and to respond with praise and thanksgiving.
  • Every church has its own style of worship. Our goal is that the Sunday service at Trinity will connect you in a real way with the real God!
  • The worship format is printed in the worship folder and on the screens for you - very user-friendly for you.
  • Our prayer for you in our worship: May your heart find grace; may your soul know peace; may your mind be renewed; may your eyes see the light; may your ears hear the glory of Jesus Christ in our midst.

Whichever of the two worship services you attend each Sunday, we know that you'll sense our sincere excitement about Jesus Christ and what He is doing inand through us. Our prayer is that you can freely join with us as we worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.

  • The 9:15 AM BLENDED WORSHIP - Predominately traditional hymn tunes, primarily organ-accompanied, ocassionally adding other liturgical formats. Spoken portions in all services use contemporary language.
  • The 10:30 AM CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP - Newer songs and hymns with the use of a variety of musical instruments. There will be a mix of traditional and contemporary formats and presentations using drama and video.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in both worship services.

MUSIC/ARTS

  • Music/Audio - When we come together for a worship service, we believe that song, music, and sound can serve to help connect our hearts and minds to our Savior, Jesus, and His Word for us.
  • Arts - When you walk into our Worship Center, you will see beautiful artwork in stained glass windows that beautifully depicts the life of Jesus Christ for us from His birth to ascension. You will also see visual arts through contemporary technology and media - video screens and lighting for a "sight and sound" generation.

The goal is that God's Message in the Bible is communicated in "language" and forms that connect a culturally diverse people to the real God in real ways.

Seasonal Worship

Trinity offers worship during special seasons of the year.

During the six weeks before Easter, we hold Lenten services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

During the week before Easter, we provide special worship experiences on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Our Easter worship provides several worship opportunities so that all of our guests and members can experience this wonderful celebration of Jesus' resurrection.

During the 3-4 weeks before the Christmas season, we are sharing special devotional time on Wednesday evenings. Click here for the current program. We also offer worship services on Christmas Eve each year.

Please check the Events Calendar for details.

Sunday Servants

In addition to those who help musically, many lay servants assist in the worship services.

Starting September 12, with the new service, Trinity's Worship Arts ministry will need additional volunteers to help make our services happen. If you can assist in any of these areas, please contact the appropriate coordinator.

  • Scripture Readers: Worshippers to read the designated scriptures approximately once every 4-6 weeks. Advance copies of the readings will be emailed to you by the Saturday before you read. Please indicate your preferred service (8:30 am or 10:15 am). Contact Mike LiBassi
  • Actors: More dramas will be incorporated into the worship services (especially during Advent and Lent). Actors are needed to perform in a variety of roles throughout the church year. All ages are welcome. Contact Mike LiBassi
  • A/V Techs: Help produce and run audio/visual portions of the worship service. Are you Mac literate? Do you learn new software quickly? An exciting new program will be used during the 10:15 am service. Training will be provided, as needed. Contact Mike Abel
  • Musicians: If you have a musical talent and a desire to use it - we most likely have a way to use it! Please contact Joe Gastler
  • Ushers: If you have a desire to help in this ministry on Sunday mornings by handing out bulletins or finding seats for worshippers, let one of our Sunday ushers know.
  • Altar Guild: With two worship services alternating communion every other week, we need more volunteers to help prepare the elements. Please contact Sue Strakos or Teresa Shaw
  • There are many other areas in which to volunteer - Children's Church, Visual Arts, Technical Arts, Handbells - just to name a few! If you have a desire to help in any area of Trinity's Worship Arts ministry, please ask Joe Gastler, our ministry director.
  • Needed Every Sunday, volunteers to help with setting up breakfasts. Get a friend to help, enlist your family or small group. It is an easy and fun way of ministry to those that come in early for breakfast. Contact Carol Trantham at 848-4556
