So, what is a Connecting Ministry?

Define Connect:
1. to join, link or fasten together
2. to establish communication between
3. to cause to be associated

There are many items in our world that connect: cables, wires, ropes, chains, satellites, airplanes, trains, and buses to name a few. My favorite is the image of a bridge that opens up access from one side to the other. As the connecting director, I hope to be a "bridge" to help each of you reach UP to God, OUT to the world and IN to each other according to our mission.

Ephesians 2:10 says, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do good things he planned for us long ago." Each of us has unique gifts, experiences; abilities and passions that have shaped us for certain work. God wants you to live with the confidence of knowing who you are and the "good work" he has just for you to complete for him. A part of my job will be to help you discover your distinctive "shape" and then connect you with the right small group, Bible study, ministry or outreach project where you can best serve...it will be the place where you will love to serve and the place where God will truly use you! Working for a fuller heaven!
