A new group experience to be offered at Trinity
What is Starting Point?
- A conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community
- An ideal setting for people with questions about faith as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity
- A non-threatening small group where your opinions and beliefs will be valued
What Starting Point is NOT:
- A church membership class
- A Sunday School class
- An introduction to Christian doctrine
- An apologetics course**
- ** What does this mean? A setting that will make you defend what you believe
Who is it for?
- People who are reconnecting with God after being away from church for a while
- People who are not sure about God or the Bible and want a safe place to discuss spiritual issues
- People who have recently started a relationship with God
When and where?
Beginning Sunday, September 7th a Starting Point group will begin meeting to study the “Hope diamond” of the Bible – John 3:16. If you know nothing of the Bible, you can start here. This examination of 3:16 will bring personal renewal for the believer and a fresh exploration of the Christian faith for the seeker. For anyone who’s interested in finding a “starting point” for spiritual growth here at Trinity, this group is for you!! The group will meet at 9:00am in the Higher Grounds Coffee bar area on the second floor here at Trinity. Childcare is available. Sign up at the Welcome Desk today to participate!

Group members will need to purchase a conversation guide, and may choose to purchase a media kit and a Bible. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of materials if needed.
