Our Mission Statement and Core Beliefs
Mission Statement
Guided by our Lord's Great Commission, members of Trinity Lutheran Church are committed to:
Proclaiming God's message of salvation to the world;
Preparing disciples for spiritual ministry;
Sharing the caring Christ through Christian service.

Core Beliefs
- God wants all people to live in a personal relationship with Him. He offers this relationship as His free gift to us. We can do nothing to earn or deserve it. (1 Timothy 2:3-4, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9)
- We have a serious problem because we are all sinners. We are alienated from God, eternally separated from Him. We are spiritually dead and cannot change our relationship with Him. (Romans 3:23, Colossians 1:21, Ephesians 2:1-2)
- God is our heavenly Father. God is just and must punish sin. God loves and wants all people to come back to Him. (Matthew 6:9, Deuteronomy 32:4, 2 Peter 3:9)
- God, our heavenly Father, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to earth for us. Jesus Christ is both God and man. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose from the dead to offer us a restored relationship with God. (John 3:16, John 20:28, Romans 4:25)
- The Holy Spirit uses God's Word and Baptism to bring us back to God. The Spirit convicts us of our sinfulness. The Spirit assures us of Christ's forgiveness. The Spirit moves us to trust in Jesus Christ and restores our relationship with God. (Titus 3:4-7, John 16:8, Colossians 1:13-14, 1 Corinthians 12:3)
- The Holy Spirit gathers those who trust in Christ into the fellowship of Christ's church. The Spirit endows all believers with His gifts so we all can minister to one another and to others as we serve God. The Spirit transforms us as He leads and shapes us through His Word, Holy Communion, and prayers. The Spirit empowers and equips all Christians so that together we can build up the body of Christ.(1 Corinthians 12:3, Acts 2:41, 1 Corinthians 12:7, Acts 2:42, Ephesians 4:11-13)
